Over 400 bird species are seen in this area each year. We will spend five beautiful days (14-19 May 2007) observing birds and the natural wonders of nature in and around Sierra Vista, AZ (closest major airport is Tucson, AZ). In addition to the awe-inspiring scenery we will find in Southeast Arizona, some of the numerous bird species we may see include: White-winged & Inca Doves, various hummingbird species, and several species of thrashers & flycatchers; in addition, the possibility exists that we may also see some rare and hard-to-find species such as Zone-tailed Hawk, Montezuma Quail, Northern Beardless-Tyrannulet, and Red-faced Warbler. Note: This is a special, advance registration-required, trip.
