LANIUS V5: Version 5.2 Update

Locating different species has never been easier! After viewing information about one species, you can now Find the species account for a different species simply by accessing the vertical scroll bar for the list box in the middle of the screen and moving it upward or downward to view the entire list of species that are available for the record set that is currently on display. When you see a species you like, simply click on its name with your mouse. Using your up- and down-arrow keys in this list box will allow you to browse the species accounts one by one. In addition, the [Home], [End], [Page Up], and [Page Down] keys also work in this list box. If you are a beginning bird watcher and do not have the names of many birds committed to memory, this is probably the best method to use to locate a specific species account in the current record set.

Another method you can use to find a specific species account in this record set is to press the FIND RECORD ... button and select the name of the species you want to find from the alphabetized list box that appears on the screen. If you are an intermediate or advanced bird watcher and you are familiar with the names of most bird species, pressing the FIND RECORD ... button is probably the best method to use to locate a specific species account in the current record set.

You will also be pleased to know that any query can now be saved for later use by clicking on File | Save Query. These queries can later be opened by selecting Create Custom Query from the SEARCH pull-down menu and then clicking on the Open Query ... button.

Version 5.2 is a FREE upgrade (when delivered via email) to registered users of Version 5.0 and may be ordered by filling out the screen below.
